Wild Rover
by Thomas Bonatti, Jared Hoffman, Ted Holmes, and Whirligig231
You are the operator of a deep space rover on a scientific mission.
Your job is to collect research samples by sending your rover commands to move it around the planet.
Commands have a verb that affects a system,
entered as:
"<verb> <system>"
such as:
"more throttle"
Commands:
"more" - Increases the use of a system;
"less" - Decreases the use of a system;
"stop" - Turns a system off (ie. "stop throttle");
Systems:
"throttle" - Move the rover forward or backward;
throttle can be set to 0, 1, 2, 3, or R (reverse);
"right" - Makes the rover start turning right;
"left" - Makes the rover start turning left;
"more left" is equivalent to "less right";
"drill" - Starts drilling for rock samples;
temporarily pauses movement while active;
WARNING: the further your rover is from the planet's radio control tower, the weaker your control signal gets and the greater the chance of a command getting corrupted.
Corrupted commands can cause unintended behavior in the rover.
A blue arrow points back to the control tower so you can always find your way back.
Your objective will be indicated with a green arrow.
Activate the rover's drill while inside the objective circle to complete the objective.
Collect as many rock samples as you can without running out of time!
